    Small for a US passport, does not fit others at all

    I ordered this and it seems to be nice quality, but it is too small. But it is a tight fit for a US passport (doesn't really close evenly) and simply does not fit many other passports such as Canadian. They are,in fact,made for US Passports and work very well.****TIP WORTH READING : There is a white label sewn into an inside seam which needs to be snipped out with tiny scissors in order to help the passport slide in and sit smoothly.     Plain, Simple and affordable yet amazing quality

    A passport holder plus credit card holders. I wasn't expecting much for something less than $10. But I didn't want to put my passport by itself whiling renewing it so I bought this to give it a cover. The leather quality is very good. I think it is as good as premium leather jacket. It fits right in yet very easy for quick removal. But I don't think anybody need to take it out of the cover in the air port.I love this extra credit card pockets.     excellent quality...has held up well after months of daily use

    I bought this passport cover to replace one that I had for several years. It has fewer card slots than I would have liked. My previous passport holder had slots on both sides. However the fewer slots keeps me from overstuffing it. I live and work overseas and need to carry my passport with me at all times. I almost always keep my passport holder in my front pant pocket. Thus it gets a lot of wear.     So I bought mine at a certain convention held in NYC in 2008. It's now August of 2011 so my wallet has had 3 years of abusive use.First: Mine isn't exactly like the one pictures. Mine only has 5 slots, one in back behind it all and the passport side. The Drivers License window is also smaller.It does do as advertised. I have 2-3 proximity badges in my wallet and I have to take them out partially from the wallet just to trigger the door. If Difrwear reads this, they might want to consider putting in at least 1 slot as a "feature" so that we can open a door without having to fiddle with the wallet. Just saying... give the consumer a choice.Secondly, the first piece to begin to fail was the plastic holder for the passport itself. It's just a semi-rigid piece of plastic window that is sewed into the wallet. The plastic eventually fails due to stresses/cracking/tears.     My husband often travels and wanted to have a way to keep his passport protected. This does the job. The extra slots for credit card or other small cards work well.     Upon delivery, we took the passport case for a test run. My husband works for the Harris Cty Sheriff's Office in Houston, the 3rd largest facility of it's kind in the US. They have RFID readers for building access in some of the non-public areas (typically he keeps his building card in his regular leather wallet, and only bumps the wallet against the reader and it is easily read every time). For this passport case, he tried the same approach with the RFID passport case, and the card was NOT seen by the reader! He tried the reader again, this time with the passport case open and the card still inserted in the left pocket - still no read!     WOW - this really holds up!

    I have had the Travelon for about 1.5 years. I cannot say how effective it is for blocking RFID BUT I can testify that after all the use I have put it through, it still looks almost new - except for some slight bending at the corners. That is because it lives in a small tactical bag that has a slightly rounded corner where the wallet / or behemoth sits. It's jammed with stuff, it has more than ample space for a card hoarder such as myself and I have no need to look around for another wallet as this ages. It's like an SUV of wallets. Its leather interior is fairly thick. The only complaint I have and this is really reaching - I wish it was zippered. I sometimes bind it with thick rubber bands to add more closure. BUT - that is not a structural flaw - just more of a design wish list sort of thing. You will not go wrong with this wallet. I don't think you will pocket carry this - it is made for a urban bag / tactical bag / external carry device because it is big.     Nicely made, strong and useful

    This is a nicely made item that seems to work as advertised. Informal testing using company pass indicates complete blocking, as long as case is kept closed - as is to be expected.     I read some of the older reviews that weren't to positive about this case. I think they must have changed it over the years or something, because this is great. It fits the US Passport perfectly, or at least the most current passports (I just got my first passport this month), but I don't think the US Passport sizes have really changed to much over the last several years.I leather is soft and feels like it's pretty good quality. I don't know too much about leather but it feels soft and strong and looks good.The only thing I didn't like that much was that on the inside pocket it has the brand name "Belle Hop" written in the leather (it's shown in one of the post pictures). It's hard to notice it unless you're looking for it. But the brand on amazon is listed as "Lewis N. Clark" but the company who makes this is "Belle Hop". (I did look up and see Lewis N. The biggest selling point for me was that it doesn't have "passport" in big highly visible letters. It is merely embossed with the word.     Not what I had hoped for...

    I was lured into buying this due to all the great reviews people had put up and when I got the product I was sorely disappointed. First, if you have the new style passport (the one with the RFID chip in it) you will have a hell of a time getting this in to the cover as you can't bend the passport covers without damaging the electronics in it. Second, the quality of the leather is ok at best. nothing to rave about. Finally, inside there was some plastic covers to hold it in and they were covered with some kind of black dust that if you hadn't noticed it and slipped your passport in would gotten all over the passport. Soft buttery leather and a plastic window inside so that when your passport is inserted your photo still shows through.     Perfect Gift Item!

    I was looking for something small to put in a Christmas gift package. The big gift was tickets for an upcoming vacation, so it had to be something to open, yet inexpensive. I came upon these passport holders,and thought with the price, i couldn't lose.Wow! The quality is fantastic for the price!
