  I travel every week for business, so I need a suitcase that is roomy, lightweight, and that is small enough that I never have to check luggage. I replaced a 15 year old suitcase with this and am thrilled! It seems durable (I've been using for two months), has a great look, is easy to maneuver (spinning wheels help), and also has ample room in the main pocket and useful outside pockets the perfect size for your laptop, book, boarding pass, and whatever else you need to take quickly from your suitcase before boarding the plane.   Rolls well but only in one direction...

  I've done a lot of traveling, and have gone through a lot of luggage since the early 80's. And I miss the days of no baggage fees, and having to be so careful of the size of the luggage to not get nailed with another fee when they say "Sorry, that won't fit." Since this one is specifically the size allowed for carryon for most carrier airframes (other than the little prop hoppers probably) that problem should be minimized.This unit is VERY well constructed. No loose threads hanging out, zippers all feel nice and solid, and the pulls work well and the teeth mesh perfectly. Looks great, and the expandable/collapsable handle works well, lock and all, and feels quite solid when extended. The wheels pivot well and roll well when you're pulling it behind you, but the thing I don't like about them is that it doesn't roll well when tilted and PUSHED rather than pulled.   Measures exactly as listed; wheels wobble

  The main for buying this carry on was to get a four-wheeled one and the correct size for American Airlines. Unfortunately, the four wheels don't roll as they should. First time in a airport, it did just fine; I was able to have it roll on my side. But after my first flight, it wouldn't roll well on the aircraft aisle. I thought it was the flooring, but the wheels kept wobbling making it impossible to roll it on my side. It looks like the wheels just can't get aligned on the right direction. The only way to roll it was to push it on front of me or drag it from the back. I could understand after many flights this happening, but not before I even got off the plane on my first flight with it! I even tried it again at home, now totally empty, to no avail.Otherwise, the size is good. There's plenty of room and an additional 2" expansion if you need it.   We purchased two of these suitcases to use mainly as carry on luggage. We've flown twice with them and had no trouble fitting them into the overhead bins of two different carriers (Delta and US Air). We've also done 2 car trips with them.In the four times we've used them what I've noted is that they are very solid suitcases. Since they are so lightweight, you can have a lot of stuff in them and they don't get too heavy. We've packed everything into them for a full week of travel which surprised me. I didn't think they'd be this spacious.   Great Little Suitcase

  This suitcase was purchased to replace a great Jansport 22 incher which lost a wheel and couldn't be replaced. I am currently using it on my travels in China.   The absolute best designed folding knife

  I'm a designer, and I compulsively get caught up in the design details of products. I'm not a knife collector, or even an expert. My previous knife is a 40 year old folding Buck knife. I love that Buck, but it's so heavy and awkward to carry. In researching a new knife to buy, I looked for one that was large and sturdy enough to be a good survival knife while on the hiking trail. I also looked for a knife that, was light, had a trim profile, and could be opened with one hand. I found all these in the Gerber "Fast Draw". it's surprisingly sturdy for it's light weight. the spring-assist opening mechanism makes it very easy to open quickly with one hand, and snaps to a solid locked-open position. Like I said, I'm not a knife expert, just someone who appreciates good tools and well designed product--but I would enthusiastically recommend this knife to anyone.   I have carried a blade just about everyday of my adult life. The whole "feel naked without it thing". I have tried large blades, small blades, fixed blades, switch blades, "butterfly" blades....I even carried a.....well I'd rather not get into that one.   The Gerber F.A.S.T. (Forward Action Spring Technology) Draw knife is a pleasure to open and requires nothing more than a nudge on the thumb stud, or a simple push from your index finger on the knifes back to snap into action, and locking the blade in place. It has an excellent 3" 440A High Carbon Stainless blade (that is half serrated) is extremely sharp, and holds an edge for a long time between sharpenings! To close the blade you must slide a small, conveniently located button under your thumb forward and fold. The body of the knife is a very grippable, solid feeling glass-filled nylon, that feels great in your hand.I love knives and have several Kershaws, Bucks, SOGs and Spyderco knives.   We just returned from a trip to California. We decided to pack in carry-on luggage to avoid checked bag fees and the hassle at the baggage claim area. This worked for the trip out, but when packing to return home, I unzipped the expansion part, and had to check the bag when getting on the plane. Most of our trips are by car, and this will be a wonderful bag--lots of compartments to keep clothes tidy and organized. I researched carry-on rolling bags extensively and based on feedback from other people; I purchased this item. I do like a few features of this bag. My dress shirts are never wrinkled when I arrive to my destination; there is adequate room for 3-4 changes of clothes, undergarments, workout clothes, etc; and the wheels are very solid; even when rolling through wet conditions; snow, thick carpet, etc. The bag fits nicely in an overhead airplane bin; if the plane is a 737 or bigger; and A-300 or bigger; or even a CRJ 900.   The walkabout is perfect for a short trip. My only complaint is that it's bigger than 22". My suitcase had to be gate checked because it did not fit in the overhead bin of an older US Air plane (that seated 3 on each side - it was a decent sized plane). It also had to be turned sideways to fit on a different flight. Only on one plane could I push this roller in and have the door close over the wheels.   I used to have a cheap 3-piece Wal-Mart set of luggage. Eventually the wheels broke, zipper pulls fell off, etc. I read several travel forums looking for brand recommendations, and Travelpro came up several times. This is an amazing piece of luggage.   Great travel companion

  I purchased this suitcase to replace my favorite carry-on rolling bag that had worn out after many years' use. I took my first trip with it to The Netherlands, and was very pleased with its performance. I used four of those plastic bags that compress clothing, and was able to pack everything I needed for an 11-day stay into this suitcase, plus my shoulder tote bag. It seems quite sturdy and handled very easily. The two outside pockets are handy, and I like the two small mesh zippered compartments inside the suitcase--they made it easy to store and retrieve my cell phone charger, reading light and other small items. The zip-open water bottle storage on the outside of the suitcase did not seem very useful--it would only accommodate a very narrow water bottle. I removed the suit carrier (it zips out easily), which gave me a bit more room for packing. The handle extends more than most, which is important to me, as I am over 6 feet tall. I took my first trip with it to The Netherlands, and was very pleased with its performance. I used four of those plastic bags that compress clothing, and was able to pack everything I needed for an 11-day stay into this suitcase, plus my shoulder tote bag. It seems quite sturdy and handled very easily. The two outside pockets are handy, and I like the two small mesh zippered compartments inside the suitcase--they made it easy to store and retrieve my cell phone charger, reading light and other small items. The zip-open water bottle storage on the outside of the suitcase did not seem very useful--it would only accommodate a very narrow water bottle.   Pretty good for the price

  I purchased this case 3 years ago and travel by air every one to two weeks. So around 100 flights to date. Sometimes I check it if I have my Mandolin to carry-on, but usually it is rolled aboard. After 3 years I need to replace it. The bag still functions perfectly, the zippers are good and no penetrations or gashes in the nylon, the wheels have started to make a bit of a noise but still roll smoothly and the handle extends/retracts just fine although it will unlock and slip down if you simply rest a hand on it for a few seconds. THe reason that it is being retired is that the internal box which holds the yoke into which the handle slides has come adrift from the box and is getting looser and looser.I am pretty happy with the bag. For the price it has performed as well as I expected.   This Olympia Duffel Bag smells poisonous and falls apart!

  Having received this as a badly needed gift, I was quite excited... until the package was opened and a terrible chemical smell emanated from the duffel bag. Against better judgement, it was aired out and held onto because it was a gift. On just its first trip to the airport, a zipper has torn and ripped away from the fabric--right on the top and front of the bag. The inside is already shredding and the trip is only halfway made! This duffel bag is hardly worth the price... or any price at all. LuggagePoint should be ashamed of itself for selling this possibly toxic and definitely inferior product.LuggagePoint's overall lifetime negative rating is 11% and they have a feedback reputation for a poor return service.   When this bag arrived, it smelled wretched! Petroleum? I liked it in every other way, so decided to try to remove the smell. After several days of airing out, dryer sheets & baking soda, it finally seemed okay. I happily used it on a recent weekend trip & before I made it through security at the airport, noticed that the fabric had torn away from the zipper on the top outside compartment.   Falls over..

  Great price, good quality fabric, lots of pockets, nice wheels, etc. The only problem this bag had was when I had to stop rolling it and do something/let go of the handle, it would fall over onto it's top. It was very frustrating when I was in lines at the airport or wherever, it would tip over and hit people with the handle I was using to pull it with.   This is one of the most spectacular classic British comedies and a must-have for any Carry On fan. It is, however, unfortunate that all the Carry On moviess have not yet been released in the US in DVD format. I certainly hope they do bring them out soon. The rest of the Carry On collection (starting from where this box set left) is available in UK.This box set contains the first 12 Carry Ons that were made and a 13th one made as a tribute to all the Carry Ons (That's Carry On). It is needless to say that the cast and crew in them were always spectacular and outrageously hilarious.   Carried Away with Carry On films

  I first saw "Carry On Nurse" in 1959 and fell in love with the characters. I saw that film several times and followed up with a few other "Carry On" films. I never did get to see all of the series until this wonderful box set came out. It is not a disappointment. The films have been beautifully transferred to DVD and they are as refreshing now as they were 40+ years ago.For anyone unfamiliar with the series, they are not high brow comedy. Sort of Benny Hill in style. However, a wonderful repertory cast gave us some hilarious and zany moments. Sid James, Hattie Jacques, Joan Sims, Bob Monkhouse, Barbara Windsor, Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtrey were the principals involved.
